When submitting photos to Xperi , please make sure that they are at least px expansive and in JPEG format.

To get your own biography on allmusic and into the stores, the process is as follows: Send your music to Tivo. You can do this digitally via email or physically by sending your CD in the post.

Please attempt to be as specific as possible in your submission. Submissions that are vague or inconclusive cannot be acted upon and may be rejected.

Xperi appreciates the time you take to send this information to them, but due to the prodigious volume of correspondence they get, they're unable to directly respond to most of your submissions.

These services get their information from the same place we do, a company called Xperi (formerly Rovi/TiVo) who create and provide album and artist information to us.

Unfortunately if one of these services has incorrect information about an artist, there isn't anything we at the website can undertake about fixing it.

It needs to be corrected by the company that provides the info to all of these sites and services.

There are also situations where Xperi may be sending the correct information to one of these services, but it is getting mixed up at Apple or Spotify or wherever. In that case you would need to contact that specific service to get it ironed out.

Artists who hold recorded under different names or who are credited differently across different liner notes may be attributed to different AllMusic pages. To get them properly merged, please follow the information on the Submit Corrections links obtainable at the bottom of the artist page.

These corrections will be sent to our numbers provider Xperi who are the ones who can make the corrections for us.

Please be as detailed as possible to aid the data team in combining the credits where appropriate.

An example would be: "My specify is Joe Smith and I am an oboe player.

I am sometimes listed in the liner notes as Joseph Smith. The database has my credits split across the following pages: and  

I would prefer these credits to be listed under Joe Smith ().

The credits that should be listed under Joe Smith are:
(Oboe, Clarinet)
(Oboe)
(Oboe, Handclaps)

Once those credits are joint, the page for Joeseph Smith () can be deleted."

Artists with the equal or very similar names are accidentally combined on occasion by our data provider Xperi. To get them properly split, please follow the information on the Submit Corrections links available at the bottom of the creator page.

Please be as detailed as possible to aid the data team in splitting the credits correctly.

An example would be: "My name is Joe Smith and I am an oboe player.

The database has my credits listed incorrectly on this page 

The credits that should be applied to my work are:
 (Oboe, Clarinet)
(Oboe)
(Oboe, Handclaps)"

Similarly, if an album by another band is listed under your name, apply the Submit Corrections link on your page to indicate clearly which albums are yours, and which should be moved to another artist.

If you had an account dating advocate before and you're trying to log in with those credentials, it will not work.

That system is no longer in place.
You may still be receiving the weekly new releases newsletter but not have a valid account to log into AllMusic. The newsletter database and the AllMusic login database are not necessarily the same place of email addresses.

Xperi editors take into account the history of the band, the sound of the act, song selection and a number of other factors when writing their reviews. Keep in brain that each of our reviews represents an educated opinion, but a subjective opinion nonetheless.
