Dinesh completed high school in Washermenpet, Chennai. After finishing tall school, he tried his luck in acting from He acted in the Vijay TV's Kadhalika Neramilai serial after Sakthi's death. After playing the son to actress Seetha in the Daystar TV series Penn and small roles in Aadukalam () and Mouna Guru (),[1] Dinesh made a breakthrough appearing in Attakathi ().
